Rogerseller
The design world is an ever changing domain that always outgrows itself to fulfil everyone's wishes and needs. Rogerseller, an Australian based family-owned brand is constantly succeeding in being a premium name in the design world since 1895, is offering design products for their client’s kitchen and bathroom.
History
In the last decade of the 19th century, John J. Rogers (from whom the name comes) founded a local business in Melbourne that specialized in fireplaces and grates. In 1910's and 1920's the business grew with two other collaborators: Mr Seller and Mr Myhill, forming the brand that was then named 'Rogers Seller & Myhill'. Since then, they developed and specialized their products. Beside offering premium bathroom fixtures and fittings, they also offer design consulting and inspiration for both residential and commercial projects.
Since 1970, they started to ship their products overseas, while forming exclusive partnerships with some of the world’s leading suppliers and manufacturers. Some of these collaborations are still going today as usually is the case with family-owned brands like Rogerseller that aspire to offer the best quality products and services.
Their legacy is equally important as their future. As James Edmond, the Rogerseller Managing Director says, “Our clients are very design forward. We aspire to be a leader in that space, therefore we need to be constantly evolving and innovating,”
Products
First of all, Rogerseller offers design products for kitchen and bathroom, from basins, tapwear, showers, baths and toilets to the best innovations in kitchen design. This can only be possible through hard work, patience and attention to all the details. The design feature is very important for both the brand and their clients. Therefore, their products are characterised by a minimalistic design with sleek and elegant cut lines that always pass the test of time.
Time is also another guiding principle. Not only all the designs are timeless, but they also save time by creating easy to use and effective products, with special attention to comfort and ergonomics.
Over the years they collaborated with many design brands with similar vision in creating quality products. Some of them can be found even today, such as Fantini, with their exquisite tapwear Italian design, or Catalano, with their special ceramics manufacturing technology, Cataglaze finish that is both stain resistant and hygiene resistant.
They also have a partnership with Valcucine, an Italian based brand that creates stunning and sustainable kitchen design. In their work, Valcuine made the mission to design and manufacture conscious products by taking into consideration the four fundamental rules of eco-compatibility: dematerialisation, recyclability, durability and reduction of toxic emissions. To achieve that, they are designing quality products, that are made using recycled and recyclable materials with their entire life-cycle always in mind.
Final thoughts
Is the family-owned brands and design studios that really uphold the design world. Their ambition, their vision together with their capability to adapt and flexibility is what defines this domain as the pathfinder that leads entire industries objectifying ideas.
